09/12/2009 - Success for Patrick Antelmi and A.F.P (Australian Football Players)

Our very own, 14 year old Patrick Antelmi was flown to England by English Premier League Club Portsmouth FC for a two week trial in July 2008. During his trial Patrick impressed all involved and had a blast in the process. Patrick currently plays for NSW Premier Youth League Club Blacktown City Demons in the position of striker and registered with Australian Football Players in January 2008.

Although Patrick will continue playing for Blacktown City Demons during the 2009 NSW Premier Youth League it is anticipated that he will make regular trips to England to continue his training and development under a one year scholarship, with an option to sign the young player once he turns 16. We have watched Patrick play many games in the 2008 season and he certainly has the skill and the attitude to succeed.
